We both graduated from BYU-Idaho in July and are now on the quest for a job for Dan. Little Baby Boy Jacobsen is due at the end of December/beginning of January and we are super excited! We moved from Rexburg, ID to Cody, WY at the end of August and are currently staying at Dan's parents home until we make our next move. We're still not 100% sure where we'll end up, but we are mostly interested in going to Colorado. Dan had a job interview 2 weeks ago in Hulett, WY which is right next to Devil's Tower.

We had such a great time and really soaked up a lot of neat stories while visiting Mt. Rushmore. Did you know that 90% of it was done with Dynamite? That's absolutely amazing!

Damages weren't too bad, but the only problem here was that we still had a good 6 hours left to drive and it was getting dark. We pulled over and discovered that that headlight only worked on brights and since the cover was broken it was extra bright! And it was twisted enough that it would shine right into the on-coming traffic. With the help of Dan's handy-man skills and some duct tape it served us well for a couple of hours, but we decided to find a place to sleep for the night and enjoy a scenic drive the next morning. After over 800 miles driven we made it back to Cody safe and sound with great memories and more knowledge of what else is out there!
We plan to drive to CO this week in hopes to get a better feel for what's there. We'll get to spend time with Lisa's sisters Jackie and Valerie and thier families, which will be great! We're hoping this trip goes well.
Look forward to more blogs to come!
