79 days

Monday was a joyous day for the Jacobsen home. It took 79 days to go from this:

REAL, honest to goodness running water!
Before the sink was put in...
79 days is a long time without running water in our kitchen. I've caught myself MANY times going up to the bathroom to fill up cups, or going to our pitcher to measure out water. Thankfully I haven't had to do any more dishes in the bathtub or climbed 14 steps to wash my hands after a meal. (I've been counting)

There are still some other things needing to be done for it to really be finished, but I love standing at my kitchen sink!!! :o)

Last night we ate our very first meal at our lovely new table in our wonderful dinning room. What a treat! Did I mention I found this table, chairs and hutch on Craigslist for $35? LOVE THEM!!

I'm sure I'll post more pictures when it really "really" gets done and we no longer have scraps laying around. That'll be the day...
