Cut in half

We did some budgeting last night and compared our utility expenses from when we lived in our 1 bedroom apartment and now, in our 4 bedroom home. What do you think we found? Our utility expenses have cut in half. HALF! We've increased our square footage nearly 1300, and we don't even come close to spending as much. That feels good. It also goes to show how terrible the seal was on our windows and doors. Also most of the costs were going to water. We didn't use much water, but it was measured by building and then divided between the tenants. Plus the watering of the grass, or mostly sidewalk and parking lot, was thrown in there too. It drove me crazy! One month when we were gone traveling for the majority of it, was the highest bill. Redonculous! It just amazes me to actually compare living in an apartment verses a house. I'm SO glad we moved!!!
