What happened?

Warning: Do not read if throw-up sickens you.

Soren woke this morning a little after 2am with "my tummy feels funny" and total pain in his stomach. He mysteriously had some kind of food poisoning of sorts, and was throwing up every 30 minutes after about 2:30 - almost as if he was on a timer. It still baffles me what could have triggered this because we all had cold cereal for dinner (so fancy, I know. Welcome to Sunday nights at the Jacobsen's). Lily was doing good, and not sick. I was feeling fine. Dan felt a little funny he said when he got up at 2:30 when Soren first started throwing up, but went back to bed like nothing. Being up and moving around so much woke up the babe in my tummy and it was impossible to fall back to sleep. I guess it thought it was morning time and therefore must be time to excercise. Boo. But, this made it possible for me to jump up and run to Soren when I heard the next heaves coming. Dan was sick once morning came and went back to bed after breakfast at 9:30 and is still asleep at noon. The only thing those two ate that Lily and I didn’t was for breakfast they had a half of the same grapefruit, and for dinner they had one cereal that we didn’t. So, I’m convinced that they would have felt something during the day if the grapefruit was bad, but I think it’s strange that some cold cereal could do this to someone. Or 2 someone’s. Any ideas?

 Needless to say, we all got little sleep, and all plans for this day are totally ruined. Instead, laundry is on the list. On a good note, Soren has awesome aim and hardly made a mess at all. For this I am SO grateful! I am also SO glad that we all aren’t sick. It’s good I am well so I can take care of my sick boys. Please let this pass quickly!
