It was Western Day at Soren's School today - they've been learning about cowboys in science this month. He got to dress up like a cowboy and the parents were to pick up a little early so the kids could sing us some songs they've been working on.
{I tried loading a video here, and it didn't work. Sorry. I'll try another day.}
We had already planned for him to be a cowboy for Halloween this year, so we just pulled out some things a little early to wear and he was way excited! Grandma came to work on my house for the day (because although those 'nesting' instincts have ceartainly kicked in, there is no way I can do any of it) so she got to come enjoy the show too.
It was so fun to see him singing with all his little friends and get so excited about his purple horse (yes, he chose to paint it purple...kind of his favorite color right now, not sure what brought that on).
He told me a couple days ago he had to "giddy-up" all the way out to the car after school. And he did just that! What a riot!
