It lives!

Dan put all the needed parts back on the car and so far it is running well again. We are however making plans for Dan to get up to Powell, WY to buy a van from his brother Andy's family. We weren't really looking at mini van's, but in the end decided this would actually work best for us for now. It will stay with us for as long as possible so we won't have to upgrade down the road when more little Jacobsen's come, and it will also be really good for Dan's calling, which is now the Young Men's 1st Councilor. So that's the big plans for now.

With all the happenings on the car I've neglected to state how absolutely adorable Soren is. He is now going on 8 months next week. Although he is more cranky than ever from teething, this is my favorite stage so far. He can't really move fast, but it's only a matter of time I'm sure of it. He kind of does the worm when he scoots around. It's cute. He has definitely distinguished between Mama and Papa. He gets SUPER excited when Dan comes home from work and will stop whatever he's doing and smile and bounce. He likes to cuddle more now than when he was smaller, I don't mind unless I'm trying to get things done or don't want him to tear it apart. He loves music-when I turn on the radio, play piano or even sing he'll rock or bounce TO the music. It's the cutest thing ever. He says "da da da da da" or it's more of a "de de de de de" all day long. He has gone through a few "blah blah" and "ma ma ma ma". We call Dan Papa, so we know he just voluntarily likes that combo the best I think. Still no teeth have broken through, but his gums have been swollen a few times now. One of these days he'll wake up and suddenly have 3. He likes looking at books. I hope he'll be a bigger reader than I ever was. He always smiles at people everywhere we go and definitely makes friends wherever we go. We're so blessed to have such a happy baby!!!
