Pun'kin patch

We went with the Johnson's and Hyde's to a pumpkin patch yesterday! It was a BLAST!!

Lots of awesome pumpkins! The right one is out there somewhere!Soren chose his. Just the right size... to eat.Spencer liked playing in the dirt the best. He really really liked rolling around, digging, and even eating it! Yummy. Just like pumpkin pie...or not.

We took a hay ride around the pumpkin field, which was fun. They had a corn maze that we went in too. I was particularly excited because I'd never been in one before. Soren fell asleep about 5 minutes into it, but he liked looking around at everything before that. The kids had fun trying to get lost or find a way out. I'm not sure which was first on their list.I followed Rachel, she was a pro at finding the right way.

Here's the whole gang (I took the picture) after we made it out. Whew, every one's counted for.

They had a pumpkin gun that they fired off a few times while they were there. Here was the first one we watched. Dan was super excited about it. He talked to the guy running it and found out all the particulars, which I don't remember other than it's really big and shoots pumpkins really far. There's a girl for ya. Dan AND Soren stood up close (Dan's in the white and red shirt)

We had a great time, and hope we can do it again next year!

Cute fall/Halloween pictures. I especially loved the one with Soren as the scarecrow. How cute!
