I took him in for his 6 month check-up and shots and they measured and weighed him here are his stats:Weight: 18 lbs. 5 oz. =50th %
Length: 27 inches=50th %
Head: 18.5 inches=95th %
The nurse that measured his head did it like 3 times just to make sure she was doing it right and had the right end of the measuring tape. Yes, he still has a large noggin. It's only 2 cm bigger than it was at 4 months. It was off the charts this time though. They said to keep an eye on it and make sure he still responds to sounds. They didn't even detect any signs of croup, so he's recovering quickly.
We're going to start experimenting with other foods for the little guy. We'll be trying baby oatmeal cereal again because he wasn't too sure about it the first time. Then we'll go for some vegies after that for sure.
Some other exciting news is that Soren's arms and neck are getting much stronger (you'd think so having to lift such a load up top) and is now pushing to his knees and rocking... or just doing a strait push-up on his feet and hands. It's so fun to watch. He is also very much aware of everything around him and rolls around to play with things. It wont be long before he can get around much quicker.... dun dun dun.

Hazel is so tiny compared to him and she's 4 months older! haha She just had her 10 month appt and only weighed in at 16 1/2 lbs. But she's 29 inches long, so I guess that makes up for it. lol Glad to see he is healthy and strong. And of course he's got a big noggin'--he's a genius! =D
He's so cute Lisa! It's good to see he can hold his head up, even though it's so large. Sophie's was big at 6 months, but it didn't grow at all since then, now she's got an average head. Funny how that happens!

Reading your blog makes me so happy! I am so glad things are going well for you guys! Soren is so stinking cute! Parker has a huge noggin too! Last measured it was "above 95%" cracks me up! Maybe this year at school i'll take a little trip to Denver to come visit you! I miss you friend! Anyway, just wanted you to know I love you!
